A traditional Italian variety producing long, slightly curved fruits 40–60 cm in length, with pale green to whitish skin and crisp, refreshing flesh. Tortarello Abruzzese White seeds yield vigorous, high-yielding plants with dense foliage and steady summer production.

Sow from April to June, once soil temperature exceeds 18°C, either directly outdoors or in seedbeds for transplanting. Prefers warm, sunny locations and fertile, well-drained soils with pH 6.0–7.5. Space 60–80 cm between plants and 100–120 cm between rows.

Harvest 60–70 days after sowing, while fruits are still tender. The variety is known for its sweet, mild flavor, excellent freshness, and high heat tolerance. Ideal for fresh consumption and Mediterranean salads.
