Sweet Corn (Zea mays var. saccharata)

An annual, warm-season crop producing large ears with tender, golden-yellow kernels rich in natural sugars. Sweet corn seeds yield vigorous plants 1.5–2.5 m tall, with dense foliage and flavorful cobs ideal for fresh consumption.

Sow directly outdoors from April to June, once soil temperature reaches 16–18°C. Prefers warm, sunny locations and deep, fertile, well-drained soils with a pH of 6.0–7.5. Germination occurs within 7–10 days.
Harvest about 80–100 days after sowing, when kernels are sweet, juicy, and milky.

Sweet corn is rich in fiber and vitamins A, B, and C, and can be enjoyed fresh, boiled, or grilled. Ideal for home gardens and high-quality production with excellent taste and aroma.
