Variety Description
The Tomato ‘Ace 55’ is a productive, low-growing variety well suited for warm regions. The plants remain compact, making them ideal for small gardens, containers and intensive plantings. The fruits are round, medium-sized and have a sweet, rich flavour. Moreover, they contain high levels of vitamin C and have naturally low acidity.
Growing Requirements
This variety thrives in sunny areas and in light, well-drained soil. Consistent watering helps maintain fruit quality. In addition, its compact structure reduces the need for strong support. The ‘Ace 55′ tomato also shows good tolerance to cracking and environmental stress.
Sowing and Planting
Sowing takes place from February to April. Transplant the seedlings when they develop 4–6 true leaves. After that, place the plants 60–80 cm apart. Harvest begins 70–80 days after transplanting. The fruits ripen uniformly and develop a deep red colour.
