White Turnip

An early, fast-growing variety producing round, smooth white roots with crisp, tender flesh and a mildly sweet flavor. White turnip seeds grow vigorous plants suitable for year-round cultivation, especially in cool seasons. Roots reach 6–8 cm in diameter and remain firm and juicy at maturity.

This crop thrives in cool to mild climates and prefers fertile, deep, well-drained soils rich in organic matter. Sowing takes place from February to October, directly in the field, with spacing of 10–15 cm between plants and 30–40 cm between rows. Harvesting begins 40–60 days after sowing, when roots reach the desired size.

Turnips are rich in vitamins C and K, potassium, calcium, and dietary fiber, while being low in calories. Ideal for fresh salads, boiling, or cooking, offering a refreshing and mild taste. The White variety stands out for its quick growth, cold resistance, and consistent yield.
