Variety Description
The Wild Arugula is a vigorous leafy herb with strong aroma and spicy flavour. The leaves are narrow, deeply lobed and very fragrant. The plant grows quickly and produces multiple harvests. In addition, it regenerates well after cutting and adapts easily to different climates.
Growing Requirements
Wild Rocket thrives in sunny areas and in light, well-drained soil. Regular watering keeps the leaves tender and aromatic. Moreover, light fertilization enhances leaf quality. The variety is more heat-tolerant than common rocket and maintains its flavour for longer periods.
Sowing and Planting
Sowing can be done almost year-round. Seeds are placed thinly in rows and covered lightly with soil. After that, the soil should remain moist until germination. Harvest begins 25–35 days after sowing. Leaves are cut progressively to encourage regrowth.
