The Carosello ‘Klosoudi’ is a traditional Greek variety known for its long, slender and slightly curved fruits. The skin is thin, while the flesh is crisp, juicy and refreshing. Moreover, the fruits remain tender and free of bitterness, even when harvested at larger sizes. The variety shows stable growth and good productivity during warm seasons.

Growing Requirements

Cucumber Klosoudi grows best in warm conditions and in well-drained soil. Regular watering keeps the fruits tender and improves quality. In addition, organic fertilization supports healthy plant development. Training the plants on trellises also improves fruit shape and simplifies harvesting.

Sowing and Planting

Sow seeds from March to June. Transplant seedlings once temperatures become stable. After planting, space the plants 50–70 cm apart. Harvest usually begins 55–70 days after planting and continues gradually.
