The Amaryllis ‘Aphrodite’ is an elegant double-flowered variety with large white and creamy blooms. Soft pink to salmon markings decorate the petals, while delicate pink edges add extra detail. The plant usually grows around 50 cm tall.
Plant the bulb in a pot with fertile, well-drained compost. Leave the upper part of the bulb slightly above the soil. Place the pot in a bright, warm position and water moderately. Avoid excessive moisture around the bulb. Flowers usually appear around 6–8 weeks after planting, depending on the growing conditions.
This variety is ideal for pots and bright indoor spaces. Its large bicoloured flowers create an elegant decorative display. The blooms are also suitable for cutting and floral arrangements.
