The Amaryllis ‘Red Peacock’ is a striking double-flowered variety with large, deep red blooms. Its many velvety petals create a rich and full flower. The intense colour makes it an impressive feature in any bright indoor space. The plant usually grows around 50 cm tall.

Plant the bulb in a pot with fertile, well-drained compost. Leave the upper part of the bulb slightly above the soil. Place the pot in a bright, warm position and water moderately. Avoid keeping the soil excessively wet. Flowers usually appear around 6–8 weeks after planting, depending on growing conditions.

This variety is ideal for pots, bright indoor spaces and sheltered terraces. Its large red blooms also make attractive cut flowers for decorative arrangements.
