A fragrant and sweet melon variety producing large, oval fruits with a yellow–gold rind and distinctive netted skin. The flesh of the Ananas melon is juicy, aromatic, and sweet, with a tropical scent reminiscent of pineapple, giving the variety its name.
Ananas melon seeds grow into vigorous, productive plants with excellent heat tolerance. Fruits typically weigh 1.5–3 kg, with firm, flavorful flesh ideal for fresh consumption, desserts, and fruit salads.
Sow March–May in a nursery or directly outdoors once the soil warms. Prefers light, fertile, well-drained soils and full sun. Space 80–100 cm between plants and 150–200 cm between rows.
Harvest 80–100 days after sowing, when fruits develop full aroma and color. This variety is prized for its exceptional sweetness, high aroma, and excellent quality.
