The Iris ‘Latifolia’ produces elegant pale blue flowers with attractive yellow markings at the centre. Its cool colour adds a fresh look to the garden and combines beautifully with white, yellow and purple flowers. The plant usually grows around 50–70 cm tall.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Choose fertile, well-drained soil and avoid excessive moisture. Flowers usually appear from late spring to early summer.
This variety works beautifully in borders, flower beds and group plantings. You can also grow it in large pots and containers. Its elegant blue blooms make attractive cut flowers for bouquets and floral arrangements.
