Tulip ‘Apeldoorn’ is a herbaceous bulbous plant belonging to the Liliaceae family and part of the Darwin Hybrid group, renowned for its large, sturdy tulips.
It produces large, cup-shaped flowers in vivid red, borne on strong, upright stems reaching 50–60 cm in height.
Thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, fertile soils.
Flowering occurs in spring (April), while bulbs should be planted in autumn at a depth of about 12 cm.
