A distinctive Italian summer squash variety with long, curved fruits resembling a trumpet, reaching 40–60 cm in length. The fruits are light green, with tender, aromatic flesh and excellent flavor. Trombetta squash seeds produce vigorous, high-yielding vines that can climb or spread across the ground.
Sow directly outdoors from April to June, when soil temperature exceeds 18°C. Prefers sunny locations and fertile, well-drained soils rich in organic matter, with pH 6.0–7.5. Space 60–80 cm between plants and 100–120 cm between rows.
Harvest 45–60 days after sowing, while fruits are still young and tender. This variety is noted for its sweet taste, good storage quality, and excellent heat tolerance. Ideal for cooking, grilling, or salads.
