The Tulip ‘Apeldoorn’s Elite’ is a striking Darwin Hybrid variety with large, beautifully shaped flowers. Its petals combine warm red and coral-pink tones with golden-yellow and orange highlights. This vibrant colour combination creates an impressive display in the spring garden. The plant grows to around 55 cm tall.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny position. Choose fertile, well-drained soil and avoid areas where water collects. The large flowers appear in spring, usually during the middle of the tulip season.
