Παραδοσιακή ποικιλία με μακριούς, αχλαδόσχημους καρπούς μήκους 30–60 cm και βάρους 3–8 kg, με λεία, ανοιχτοπράσινη φλούδα που ωριμάζοντας αποκτά μπεζ απόχρωση. Η σάρκα είναι παχιά, βαθιά πορτοκαλί, πολύ γλυκιά και αρωματική, κατάλληλη για μαγείρεμα, σούπες, πίτες και γλυκά. Οι σπόροι της δίνουν φυτά ζωηρά, με μακριούς έρποντες βλαστούς και υψηλή παραγωγικότητα.

Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται Απρίλιο έως Ιούνιο, όταν η θερμοκρασία του εδάφους υπερβεί τους 18°C. Προτιμά βαθιά, γόνιμα και καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη με επαρκή υγρασία και ηλιόλουστη θέση. Οι αποστάσεις φύτευσης είναι 120–150 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 200–250 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών.

Η συγκομιδή γίνεται 100–120 ημέρες μετά τη σπορά, όταν οι καρποί έχουν αποκτήσει το χαρακτηριστικό τους χρώμα και σκληρό φλοιό. Είναι ποικιλία εξαιρετικά ανθεκτική στη ζέστη και στην ξηρασία, με πολύ καλή συντηρησιμότητα, ιδανική τόσο για οικιακή καλλιέργεια όσο και για παραγωγή προς πώληση.

All estimated shipping times are in addition to fulfillment times, We offer a next working day delivery for orders placed before 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Orders placed after this will be delivered within two working days. This excludes Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Appointed is not responsible for any customs/duties related to international orders. Returns & Refunds
