The Cucumber ‘Tortarello Verde Scuro’ is a traditional Italian cucumber type known for its long, curved fruits and dark green colour. Growing Requirements

Tortarello Verde Scuro grows best in warm climates and in well-drained soil. Regular watering helps maintain tenderness and improves fruit quality. In addition, organic fertilization supports strong plant growth. Training the plants on trellises also improves fruit shape and length.

Sowing and Planting

Sow seeds from March to June. Transplant seedlings once temperatures stabilize. After planting, space the plants 50–70 cm apart. Harvest begins about 55–70 days after planting and continues gradually.
