A perennial herbaceous plant of the Rosaceae family, cultivated for its sweet, aromatic red fruits. Strawberry seeds produce vigorous plants with dense foliage, numerous stolons, and extended fruiting periods under favorable conditions. The fruits are juicy, fragrant, and rich in vitamin C, ideal for fresh consumption and processing.
This crop thrives in cool to mild climates and prefers light, fertile, well-drained soils rich in organic matter, with a pH of 5.5–6.5. Sowing is carried out from January to April in seedbeds, followed by transplanting when seedlings reach 5–8 cm in height. Spacing should be 25–30 cm between plants and 40–50 cm between rows. Harvesting begins 4–5 months after sowing and continues into autumn.
Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and antioxidants (anthocyanins and polyphenols). They are consumed fresh, in desserts, or processed into jams and juices. This variety stands out for its productivity, adaptability, and exceptional fruit quality, suitable for professional growers and home gardens.
