The ‘Royal Yellow’ Iris produces bright golden-yellow flowers that bring vivid colour to the spring garden. Its elegant blooms stand on upright stems and combine beautifully with blue, purple and white flowers. The plant usually grows around 50–60 cm tall.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny position. Choose well-drained soil and avoid areas where water collects. Flowers usually appear from spring to early summer.
This variety is ideal for borders, flower beds and group plantings. It also grows well in suitable pots and containers. The striking yellow blooms make excellent cut flowers for bouquets and floral arrangements.
