The Tulip ‘Golden Apeldoorn’ is a striking Darwin Hybrid with large, golden-yellow flowers. Its bright colour creates a vibrant display among green foliage. Strong stems support the impressive blooms and give the plant an elegant appearance. It grows around 55 cm tall.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Choose fertile, well-drained soil and avoid areas where water collects. The flowers appear in spring, usually during the middle of the tulip season.
This variety is ideal for borders, flower beds and group plantings. Its golden colour pairs beautifully with red, white, pink and purple tulips. It also grows well in large pots and containers. The strong stems and large blooms make it an excellent cut flower.
