Διετές, αρωματικό φυτό με πυκνό φύλλωμα και έντονο πράσινο χρώμα. Οι σπόροι μαϊντανού Comune 2 δίνουν φυτά ζωηρής ανάπτυξης με λεπτά, βαθιά διαιρεμένα φύλλα και έντονο άρωμα. Κατάλληλος τόσο για φρέσκια κατανάλωση όσο και για αποξήρανση.

Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται απευθείας στο έδαφος ή σε σπορείο από Φεβρουάριο έως Οκτώβριο, καθώς το φυτό ευδοκιμεί σε ήπιες θερμοκρασίες (10–25°C). Προτιμά δροσερά, υγρά και ηλιόλουστα εδάφη, καλά στραγγιζόμενα και πλούσια σε οργανική ουσία, με pH 6,0–7,5. Οι αποστάσεις φύτευσης είναι 20–25 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 30–40 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών.

Η βλάστηση των σπόρων είναι βραδεία (15–25 ημέρες), αλλά ακολουθεί γρήγορη και σταθερή ανάπτυξη. Ο μαϊντανός Comune 2 είναι πλούσιος σε βιταμίνες A, C και K, σίδηρο και κάλιο, και αποτελεί θεμελιώδες αρωματικό βότανο της μεσογειακής κουζίνας.
