Kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala)

A cold-hardy leafy cabbage variety, producing large, wavy green leaves with tender texture and mild flavor. Kale seeds grow into vigorous plants reaching 40–70 cm, yielding continuous harvests of fresh leaves during autumn and winter.

Sow July to September for fall–winter crops, or spring in mild regions. Prefers fertile, well-drained soils rich in organic matter and cool conditions. Space 40–50 cm between plants and 60–70 cm between rows.

Harvest 70–90 days after sowing, cutting outer leaves regularly. Rich in vitamins A, C, K and minerals, kale offers a sweet, nutty taste that improves after frost. Ideal for boiling, soups, pies, or salads.

All estimated shipping times are in addition to fulfillment times, We offer a next working day delivery for orders placed before 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
