Πολυετές, ριζωματώδες λαχανικό της οικογένειας Apiaceae, καλλιεργούμενο κυρίως για τη διογκωμένη, σαρκώδη ρίζα του με χαρακτηριστικό άρωμα και φίνα γεύση. Οι σπόροι της δίνουν φυτά ζωηρής ανάπτυξης, με δυνατό ριζικό σύστημα και ανθεκτικότητα στις χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες. Η ρίζα είναι σφαιρική, λευκοκίτρινη, με τραγανή σάρκα και υψηλή περιεκτικότητα σε αιθέρια έλαια και μεταλλικά στοιχεία.
Η καλλιέργεια ευδοκιμεί σε δροσερό έως ήπιο κλίμα και απαιτεί γόνιμα, βαθιά, καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη, πλούσια σε οργανική ουσία. Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται από Φεβρουάριο έως Απρίλιο σε σπορείο, ενώ η μεταφύτευση γίνεται όταν τα φυτά φτάσουν σε ύψος 10–15 cm, σε αποστάσεις 25–30 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 40–50 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών. Η συγκομιδή ξεκινά 120–150 ημέρες μετά τη μεταφύτευση, όταν οι ρίζες αποκτήσουν διάμετρο 8–12 cm.
Η σελινόριζα είναι πλούσια σε βιταμίνες C και K, νάτριο, κάλιο και αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες. Χρησιμοποιείται σε σούπες, πουρέδες, σαλάτες ή παραδοσιακά μαγειρευτά, προσφέροντας έντονο άρωμα και μοναδική γεύση. Η ποικιλία αυτή χαρακτηρίζεται από υψηλή παραγωγικότητα, αντοχή στο ψύχος και εξαιρετική ποιότητα ρίζας.

Returns & Refunds
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation, order number, or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
