Πιπεριά Φλάσκα Κόκκινη (Capsicum annuum)

Παραδοσιακή ελληνική ποικιλία με επιμήκεις, σαρκώδεις καρπούς μήκους 15–20 cm, έντονου κόκκινου χρώματος και γλυκιάς γεύσης. Οι σπόροι της δίνουν φυτά ζωηρής ανάπτυξης, υψηλής παραγωγικότητας, με πλούσιο φύλλωμα που προστατεύει τους καρπούς από τον ήλιο.

Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται σε σπορείο από Φεβρουάριο έως Απρίλιο, ενώ η μεταφύτευση γίνεται όταν η θερμοκρασία του εδάφους υπερβεί τους 18°C. Προτιμά θερμά, ηλιόλουστα μέρη και γόνιμα, καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη με pH 6,0–7,5. Οι αποστάσεις φύτευσης είναι 40–50 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 70–90 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών.
Η συγκομιδή ξεκινά περίπου 70–90 ημέρες μετά τη σπορά και μπορεί να συνεχιστεί μέχρι το φθινόπωρο.

Η κόκκινη φλάσκα ξεχωρίζει για την έντονη γλυκύτητα, τη λεπτή φλούδα και τη χαμηλή οξύτητα, ιδανική για γέμιση, ψήσιμο ή νωπή κατανάλωση. Είναι ανθεκτική στη ζέστη, αλλά ευαίσθητη σε χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες και παγετό.
