Πολυετές, ποώδες φυτό της οικογένειας Rosaceae, καλλιεργούμενο για τους ζουμερούς, αρωματικούς καρπούς του. Οι σπόροι φράουλας δίνουν φυτά ζωηρής ανάπτυξης, με πλούσιο φύλλωμα, στόλωνες για αγενή πολλαπλασιασμό και συνεχή καρποφορία υπό ευνοϊκές συνθήκες. Οι καρποί είναι κόκκινοι, σαρκώδεις, γλυκοί, με έντονο άρωμα και υψηλή περιεκτικότητα σε βιταμίνη C.
Η καλλιέργεια ευδοκιμεί σε δροσερό έως ήπιο κλίμα, με γόνιμα, ελαφρά, καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη, πλούσια σε οργανική ουσία και pH 5,5–6,5. Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται από Ιανουάριο έως Απρίλιο σε σπορείο, σε προστατευμένο περιβάλλον. Η μεταφύτευση γίνεται όταν τα φυτά φτάσουν ύψος 5–8 cm, σε αποστάσεις 25–30 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 40–50 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών. Η συγκομιδή ξεκινά 4–5 μήνες μετά τη σπορά και μπορεί να διαρκέσει έως το φθινόπωρο.
Η φράουλα είναι πλούσια σε βιταμίνη C, κάλιο, φυτικές ίνες και αντιοξειδωτικά (ανθοκυανίνες και πολυφαινόλες). Καταναλώνεται νωπή, σε γλυκά ή χυμούς, και χρησιμοποιείται ευρέως στη βιομηχανία τροφίμων. Πρόκειται για παραγωγική και ευπροσάρμοστη ποικιλία, κατάλληλη τόσο για επαγγελματική καλλιέργεια όσο και για οικιακούς κήπους.

Returns & Refunds
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation, order number, or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
