Αυτοφυές, πολυετές λαχανικό της οικογένειας Asteraceae, με βαθύ ριζικό σύστημα και πλούσιο φύλλωμα. Τα φύλλα είναι οδοντωτά, πράσινα έως πρασινογάλανα, με χαρακτηριστική πικρή γεύση, ιδιαίτερα τονωτική και δροσιστική. Οι σπόροι ραδικιού άγριου δίνουν φυτά ζωηρής ανάπτυξης, κατάλληλα για συνεχή συλλογή, τόσο σε φυσική βλάστηση όσο και σε καλλιέργεια.
Η καλλιέργεια ευδοκιμεί σε δροσερό έως ήπιο κλίμα και γόνιμα, καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη πλούσια σε οργανική ουσία. Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται από Φεβρουάριο έως Οκτώβριο, απευθείας στο χωράφι, με αποστάσεις 25–30 cm μεταξύ των φυτών και 40–50 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών. Η συγκομιδή ξεκινά 50–70 ημέρες μετά τη σπορά, όταν τα φύλλα φτάσουν σε επαρκές μέγεθος, και μπορεί να επαναλαμβάνεται ανά διαστήματα.
Το άγριο ραδίκι είναι πλούσιο σε βιταμίνες A, C και K, ασβέστιο, σίδηρο και αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες. Η ήπια πικράδα του οφείλεται στην ιντουβίνη, ουσία με πεπτικές και αποτοξινωτικές ιδιότητες. Καταναλώνεται βραστό ή ωμό σε σαλάτες, συνοδεύοντας ιδανικά ψάρια και κρέατα. Πρόκειται για ανθεκτικό είδος, με υψηλή προσαρμοστικότητα και σταθερή παραγωγή καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του έτους.

Returns & Refunds
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation, order number, or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
