Η ποικιλία άσπρου σέσκουλου (Beta vulgaris var. cicla) είναι ανθεκτικό και παραγωγικό φυλλώδες λαχανικό, καλλιεργούμενο για τα σαρκώδη φύλλα και τους σαρκώδεις λευκούς μίσχους του. Οι σπόροι του δίνουν φυτά όρθιας ανάπτυξης, με πλατιά, σκούρα πράσινα φύλλα και στιβαρούς, χυμώδεις βλαστούς.
Το σέσκουλο ευδοκιμεί σε δροσερό, ηλιόλουστο περιβάλλον και προτιμά γόνιμα, καλά στραγγιζόμενα εδάφη, πλούσια σε οργανική ουσία. Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται από Μάρτιο έως Σεπτέμβριο, απευθείας στο χωράφι ή σε σπορείο, με αποστάσεις 30–40 cm μεταξύ των φυτών. Η συγκομιδή ξεκινά 50–60 ημέρες μετά τη σπορά και μπορεί να επαναλαμβάνεται, καθώς το φυτό αναβλαστάνει γρήγορα.
Το άσπρο σέσκουλο χαρακτηρίζεται από υψηλή ανθεκτικότητα στις θερμοκρασιακές μεταβολές και καλή προσαρμοστικότητα. Τα φύλλα και οι μίσχοι είναι πλούσια σε βιταμίνες A, C και K, καθώς και σε ασβέστιο, σίδηρο και αντιοξειδωτικά, καθιστώντας το φυτό σημαντικό στοιχείο της μεσογειακής διατροφής.

Returns & Refunds
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation, order number, or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
