Ετήσιο, αρωματικό και ελαιούχο φυτό της οικογένειας Brassicaceae, καλλιεργούμενο για τους σπόρους του που χρησιμοποιούνται στη μαγειρική και στη βιομηχανία τροφίμων. Οι σπόροι του δίνουν φυτά ύψους 1–1,5 m, με όρθια ανάπτυξη, κίτρινα άνθη και μαύρους, μικρούς σπόρους με έντονα πικάντικο άρωμα.
Η καλλιέργεια ευδοκιμεί σε ήπιο έως θερμό κλίμα και προτιμά καλά στραγγιζόμενα, μέσης σύστασης εδάφη, πλούσια σε ασβέστιο και οργανική ουσία. Η σπορά πραγματοποιείται από Μάρτιο έως Ιούνιο, απευθείας στο χωράφι, σε αποστάσεις 30–40 cm μεταξύ των γραμμών και 10–15 cm μεταξύ των φυτών. Η συγκομιδή των σπόρων γίνεται 90–120 ημέρες μετά τη σπορά, όταν οι λοβοί αρχίσουν να ξηραίνονται.
Το μαύρο σινάπι είναι πλούσιο σε αιθέρια έλαια, σελήνιο και φυτοχημικά, γνωστά για τις αντιμικροβιακές και αντιοξειδωτικές ιδιότητες τους. Οι σπόροι χρησιμοποιούνται για την παρασκευή μουστάρδας, ενώ το φυτό μπορεί να λειτουργήσει και ως πράσινη λίπανση ή απωθητικό εντόμων. Η ποικιλία αυτή χαρακτηρίζεται από υψηλή προσαρμοστικότητα, καλή αντοχή στην ξηρασία και σταθερή παραγωγή.

Returns & Refunds
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation, order number, or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
